Adventures by Sea

Ireland is a truly magical place. Surrounding our little island are gorgeous cliffs and beaches that are home to a host of amazing activities. Not to mention all the lakes, rivers and canals. We have kitesurfing in Clontarf, SUP boarding in Blessington, kayaking down the River Liffey, and various boating and sailing experiences. Check out whats currently on offer below

KAYAK ON THE LIFFEY

You will be kayaking approximately 4 km. The kayaks are sit on top, ideal for beginners and impossible to tip over unless you purposely try. The local guides will follow you on a safety boat. Located just a short walk from O’Connell Street, this is a perfect experience to pass an afternoon right in the heart of Dublin. It gives you a gorgeous perspective of the city that you may have never seen before, towing under bridges you have only ever walked over before!

SAILING

Social Sails are the ideal way to experience Dublin Bay on yacht Explorer when you are not part of a larger group. We can accommodate individuals and smaller groups as part of a sailing experience open to all.

 Go Sailing can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers on board. Life jackets and waterproofs are provided so you just need to wear casual clothes and soft soled shoes, no heels or skirts!We depart from and return to Dun Laoghaire Marina which is right beside the Dart station.

This idyllic cruise on the capital’s beautiful Dublin Bay has become a bucket-list must for those visiting Irelands capital city. With views of the stunning landscapes of the Dublin Mountains, Ireland’s Eye, Lambay Island, Dalkey Island, Joyce’s Martello Tower, the Baily Lighthouse to name but a view, this is a day out not to be missed.

KITESURFING

Kitesurfing is a thrill-seekers dream, combining a fun water sport with a great workout! . It is run by passionate kitesurfers who want to make your experience a memorable one. The location is as picturesque as the kites themselves. Single lessons are available, as well as a full course of kitesurfing lessons, which is recommended for those wishing to become skilled kitesurfers.

SEA KAYAKING

Join in on the weekly sea kayak trip with the  time-off crew. With different locations every week, no trip will be the same, but you are guaranteed a good time with the experienced instructors. Some locations include, Skerries islands, Bray, Howth,  Killiney beach, Dalkey. Although sea kayaking is suitable for beginners

KAYAK: MUSIC UNDER THE BRIDGE

Experience live music like you have never had before.. Under the main bridges in Dublin City Centre, from a boat, while you're in a kayak!  

The City Kayaking crew have gathered some of the best musicians in Dublin to play amazing accoustic sets right on the River Liffey.

WINDSURFING

Windsurfing has never been easier to learn with the stable boards available today. Our windsurfing courses are for both beginners & more advanced students and are run by ISA qualified instructors. We provide all the necessary equipment and instruction.

BARGE TRIP

The delightful hour long barge trip to the Leinster Aqueduct is a beautiful way to see the lush Wicklow countryside. There's a stop on top of the Aqueduct where you'll learn a little about the history of this impressive structure and of the Grand Canal.

STAND UP ON PADDLE

SUP is a great way to discover the natural beauty of your surroundings, from catching waves to one of our scenic SUP cruises, there is no where you cannot go on a stand up paddle.

Unlike surfing, SUP is very easy to learn and within one hour of tuition, you can become very comfortable in the water and on your board
